An amazingly weighty and detailed antique memorial locket which opens on both sides. To the front is a lock of hair in a glass casing and to the back opening is a picture of a women. The casing containing the hair and picture are in good condition, however there are some dirt flecks inside the locket's casing, which can be removed with the casing. The locket is held together with a split ring style bale. The front and back of the locket have been tested for 9ct gold and the internal casing is metal as is the bale. A few small tiny dimples to the back, and some wear and tear in keeping with its antique condition. A beautiful and rare keepsake, stunning on a chunky Albert chain, attached via a dog clip. Measures 5x3.5cm including the large bale and a super chunky weight of 29g! Just wonderful
